We’re seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of multimodal infrastructure projects—from complete streets and trails to Vision Zero initiatives and corridor improvements. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about safe, connected, and people-focused transportation networks.
Our project portfolio includes high-profile efforts like the Delaware River Trail, the I-95 CAP, and numerous Transportation Alternatives and roadway safety initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage and lead transportation design projects including complete streets, multi-use trails, and urban roadway improvements

Oversee budgets, schedules, invoicing, and project delivery workflows

Design and review plans for signing, pavement markings, grading, erosion control, and traffic control

Collaborate with internal design teams, clients, public agencies, and subconsultants

Lead or contribute to permitting, report writing, and public engagement

Mentor junior staff and help shape a collaborative, high-performing team

Optional: Support bicycle/pedestrian planning, corridor studies, and feasibility work

Optional: Contribute to business development through proposals, client meetings, and professional networking
What You’ll Bring:

Professional Engineer (PE) license required
-
BS or MS in Civil Engineering

8+ years of experience in transportation design and project management
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, or OpenRoads

Experience with PennDOT, NJDOT, and/or DelDOT design and permitting processes

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in a multi-disciplinary, community-focused design approach
