What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform structural design and detailing under guidance of a Project Manager and Principal

  • Assist with CAD drafting and Revit modeling across diverse building types

  • Conduct structural assessments and damage investigations — including on-site inspections (approx. 15%)

  • Write reports and assist in preparing repair designs and construction documents

  • Perform QA reviews and back-check drafting of junior staff or your own work

  • Engage with your assigned mentor, team, and clients regularly

  • Travel to local project sites in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed); equipment provided


What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a structural focus

  • E.I.T. certification

  • Completed coursework in steel and concrete design

  • 1–7 years of experience in structural engineering or building design

  • Comfort with Revit and/or RAM Structural System (preferred)

  • Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (preferred)

  • Ability to conduct site visits, including climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 20 lbs

  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a team-oriented environment
