What you’ll be doing:

Perform structural design and detailing under guidance of a Project Manager and Principal

Assist with CAD drafting and Revit modeling across diverse building types

Conduct structural assessments and damage investigations — including on-site inspections (approx. 15%)

Write reports and assist in preparing repair designs and construction documents

Perform QA reviews and back-check drafting of junior staff or your own work

Engage with your assigned mentor, team, and clients regularly

Travel to local project sites in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed); equipment provided
What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a structural focus

E.I.T. certification
-
Completed coursework in steel and concrete design

1–7 years of experience in structural engineering or building design

Comfort with Revit and/or RAM Structural System (preferred)

Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (preferred)

Ability to conduct site visits, including climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 20 lbs
