I’m partnered with a respected and well-established structural engineering firm that’s growing their NYC office. They’re known for their technical excellence, collaborative team culture, and diverse portfolio of projects—from high-rise towers to complex restoration and renovation work across landmark properties.
Here’s what you can expect:
The Role
As a Structural Project Manager, you’ll lead the structural scope of work across a variety of building structures—both new construction and restoration-focused. You’ll manage the full project lifecycle, oversee design and delivery, mentor junior engineers, and act as the point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role with a clear path to grow your influence across project types, client relationships, and team leadership.
What You'll Be Doing

Lead and manage structural design and analysis on multiple projects, from concept through construction.

Take ownership of restoration and renovation projects as well as ground-up building structures.

Coordinate directly with architects, contractors, and developers to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery.

Guide and support junior engineers in both design and project coordination tasks.

Maintain project budgets, schedules, and deliverables with a strong focus on quality and collaboration.

Represent the firm in client meetings and on job sites as the technical lead.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.

PE license in NY (or ability to secure quickly).

6+ years of experience in structural engineering with a strong background in building structures.

Proven success managing projects—ideally with a mix of new construction and restoration/renovation projects.

Proficient in structural analysis software and NYC code requirements.

Confident communicator and team player with a proactive, solutions-first mindset.
