We’re partnered with a top-tier multidisciplinary firm searching for a Senior Site/Civil Engineering Leader to join their growing team in the Metro New York City area. This strategic role offers the chance to blend technical leadership with client development, oversee transformative land development projects, and shape the growth of a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Spearhead site/civil engineering design efforts for high-impact public and private land development projects—residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and renewable energy.

  • Lead project management from concept through permitting and construction, delivering quality on time and on budget.

  • Drive client development, representing the firm at public hearings and planning board meetings while deepening relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Apply your technical edge in grading, drainage, stormwater systems, SWPPP, LID, and utility layout—backed by strong Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis skills.

  • Navigate NYC/NYS regulatory processes with confidence, guiding teams and clients through complex entitlement landscapes.

  • Mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and accountable engineering culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience, with a strong track record in land development and project management.

  • PE license (New York preferred or eligible via reciprocity).

  • Proven leadership in both technical oversight and client development.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • Licensed PE (New York preferred, or eligible via reciprocity).

  • 10+ years of experience in site/civil land development engineering.

  • Strong understanding of geotechnical and environmental integration.

  • Skilled in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; able to lead full site design.

  • Proven track record in client development and project management.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for site/client visits.
