A growing construction firm in Indiana is looking to hire an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a steady pipeline of wastewater construction projects, including treatment plants, sewer systems, and pump stations. You’ll work closely with engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to keep wastewater construction projects on track, on budget, and in full compliance with municipal and environmental standards. From planning to final inspection, your expertise will help ensure high-performing systems that communities rely on every day.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage day-to-day field operations across multiple wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, sewer networks, and lift stations

Coordinate subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and local regulations

Monitor project schedules, control costs, and proactively address changes or delays

Oversee quality control and job site safety in accordance with OSHA and environmental compliance standards

Interpret construction drawings, permitting documents, and technical specifications related to wastewater systems

Serve as the key liaison between owners, engineers, inspectors, and municipal stakeholders

Support preconstruction planning and post-construction documentation
What You’ll Bring:

5 to 7+ years of experience managing heavy civil or municipal construction projects, with at least 1 to 3 years focused on wastewater treatment or sewer system work

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience

Deep understanding of wastewater construction methods, mechanical and civil systems, and public works standards

Proficiency with project management platforms like Procore, MS Project, or Primavera

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Working knowledge of safety protocols and environmental compliance specific to wastewater construction
