We’re working with a leading structural restoration firm in Philadelphia seeking a Restoration Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 4–8 years of experience and a passion for building envelope restoration, façade inspection, and technical detailing. You’ll work side by side with senior engineers on field investigations, structural analysis, and repair design—while getting real exposure to construction and client sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • 🧱 Conduct condition assessments of façades, garages, and exterior structural systems

  • 🧗 Perform inspections using scaffolding, lifts, and rope access (SPRAT certification required or strong interest)

  • 📝 Document existing conditions, prepare assessment reports, and support DOB/FISP-style submittals

  • 🛠 Assist in structural analysis and repair design for deterioration, corrosion, and water infiltration

  • 🧑‍🔧 Provide construction administration support, attend site visits, and ensure restoration work aligns with design intent

  • 📐 Prepare technical drawings, sketches, and specifications in AutoCAD

  • 🤝 Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and architects throughout each project phase

What You Bring:

  • 4–8 years of experience in structural engineering or building restoration

  • Hands-on experience inspecting façades and parking structures

  • SPRAT certification (or strong interest in obtaining it)

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and structural analysis software (RAM, STAAD, or RISA)

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for restoring aging buildings

  • Comfort working at height—supported scaffolding, lifts, or rope access

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
