In this role, you will:

Take full ownership of structural renovation and adaptive reuse projects, from scoping through construction delivery

Investigate existing conditions, diagnose deterioration, and design practical, cost-effective repair and retrofit solutions

Provide leadership to teams—mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical reviews

Act as a thought leader, representing the firm at industry forums, technical committees, and restoration-focused events

Build trusted client relationships, ensuring smooth project execution and repeat business
You bring:

15+ years in structural engineering with a strong track record in renovation, adaptive reuse, and repair

PE license in New York (SE preferred) and advanced technical training (Master’s a plus)

Expertise across steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and hybrid systems

Proficiency in foundation upgrades, forensic investigation, non-destructive testing, and code-compliant retrofits

Strong communication and leadership skills with a client-first approach
