Mission Critical Traveling Superintendent

Managing multimillion-dollar projects is only part of the job. You're also solving complex build issues, maintaining fast-track schedules, and setting the tone for jobsite culture. If you're a traveling Superintendent with data center experience, there's a role here designed with your expertise in mind.

This position involves frequent travel and hands-on oversight of mission-critical construction sites. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, direct field operations, and serve as the on-the-ground lead for safety, sequencing, logistics, and quality—while managing relationships with owners, consultants, and trade partners.

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

  • Leading daily jobsite operations for complex, schedule-driven projects, primarily in the data center sector

  • Overseeing subcontractor activities, equipment planning, and site logistics

  • Running daily standups, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning meetings

  • Tracking progress against milestones, coordinating trade sequencing, and developing recovery strategies if needed

  • Reviewing scopes of work, drawings, and specs to ensure constructability and code compliance

  • Managing punch list closeout and supporting final turnover

  • Upholding safety standards and leading by example—your crew looks to you for guidance

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 6+ years of field experience, with at least one project over $1M under your belt

  • A strong track record on mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial work

  • Excellent scheduling and sequencing skills—experience with CPM scheduling tools like Primavera P6 preferred

  • Knowledge of QA/QC protocols, OSHA safety standards, and construction best practices

  • Competency with Microsoft Office tools and project documentation

  • NCCER certification, CQM-C, and familiarity with pull-planning are all pluses

Bonus Points If You:

  • Know your way around equipment logistics and large-scale site setups

  • Have experience mentoring Assistant Supers and managing Foremen

  • Are comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting plans on the fly
