  • Act as the technical lead in client and agency meetings, guiding designs from concept to construction

  • Collaborate closely with architects, planners, and designers in a multidisciplinary studio environment

  • Mentor junior staff and help build out a civil engineering team aligned with the firm’s creative vision

  • Develop internal workflows, best practices, and sustainable design strategies

🧠 What You Bring

  • PE license in New York (or ability to obtain quickly)

  • 10+ years of experience in civil/site engineering, ideally within urban or public space contexts

  • Strong knowledge of NYC codes, DOB permitting, and agency coordination

  • Technical proficiency in Civil 3D, drainage design, and site infrastructure modeling

  • Confident communicator and team mentor with a collaborative leadership style

  • Passion for people-first infrastructure and the role of design in shaping better cities

💡 Why This Role?

  • Step into a leadership position with the freedom to shape your own team

  • Work on forward-thinking, high-visibility projects that improve how New Yorkers move and gather

  • Join a mission-driven studio culture where engineering, architecture, and planning work hand-in-hand

  • Competitive salary up to $160,000 + full benefits, growth potential, and creative autonomy
