Construction Safety Manager

Bring your safety expertise to the front lines of high-profile construction projects. This is a standout opportunity for a seasoned Construction Safety Manager who’s ready to lead field teams, develop effective training, and drive a proactive safety culture across active job sites. You’ll have real impact—shaping and overseeing safety strategies from preconstruction to final walk-through, while acting as a trusted advisor to project leadership and trades alike.

With a background in commercial construction and an eye for both big-picture compliance and daily field execution, you’ll be a key part of maintaining operational excellence. This position includes regular jobsite visits, collaboration with office staff, and involvement in risk management efforts.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead implementation of safety programs across multiple construction projects

  • Support site teams in developing tailored safety plans, especially around electrical and high-risk scopes

  • Conduct jobsite audits, identify hazards, and guide field teams in resolving them

  • Organize and deliver orientation, electrical safety training, and refresher courses

  • Maintain and analyze safety data, trend reports, OSHA logs, and incident documentation

  • Facilitate return-to-work plans and interface with insurance or regulatory reps

  • Mentor junior safety professionals and collaborate with client-side safety reps

  • Support project managers in integrating safety into project work plans and sequencing

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years of construction safety experience (10+ preferred for senior-level candidates)

  • Strong field-based background, ideally with at least 5 years dedicated to safety leadership

  • CSP, CHST, or OSHA 500 certifications strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field—or equivalent field experience

  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and industrial hygiene practices

  • Comfortable working across multiple project teams and interfacing with field crews, PMs, and external stakeholders

  • Strong communication and public speaking skills

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $110,000 to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Employer-paid life insurance and access to additional voluntary coverage

  • 401(k) with company match plus profit-sharing

  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and other leave benefits

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, people-first safety professional who thrives in the field and wants to build lasting systems and relationships while promoting a zero-incident mindset.
