Civil Project Manager

Florida’s civil construction landscape needs detail-driven leaders—professionals who can take complex sitework and infrastructure projects from blueprint to finish line with precision and foresight. If you're a Project Manager who thrives in high-accountability environments and knows how to run the show on heavy civil jobs up to $15 million, this role offers the platform to lead, shape, and grow.

We’re working with a long-established contractor known for public and private roadwork, site development, and infrastructure across Florida. Their team blends boots-on-the-ground know-how with forward-thinking project leadership, and they’re hiring a PM to help carry that momentum forward.

The Core of Your Role:

  • Own the day-to-day execution of civil construction jobs from kickoff through closeout

  • Direct self-perform and subcontractor crews across multiple active sites

  • Drive scheduling, purchasing, and cost tracking with minimal oversight

  • Lead coordination meetings, permit tracking, and QA/QC processes

  • Monitor job progress and offer performance recommendations to area leadership

  • Review project reports, subcontractor compliance, and safety performance

  • Guide projects to stay aligned with both budget targets and client expectations

What It Takes to Stand Out:

  • 5+ years of experience managing sitework and civil infrastructure projects

  • Project history in the $500K to $15M+ range, spanning both private and DOT-funded jobs

  • Strong grasp of civil scopes including roadwork, utilities, and grading

  • Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with job tracking/reporting software preferred

  • Clear communicator with a track record of leading teams and vendors effectively

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • Florida driver’s license and ability to meet standard pre-employment screenings

What’s Offered:

  • Competitive base compensation

  • Full suite of medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with matching contributions

  • Annual performance-based bonuses

  • Paid holidays and generous vacation time

  • Sick time that rolls over annually

  • Branded apparel, annual work gear allowance, and year-end recognition gifts

  • Guaranteed yearly performance review and feedback program
