Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Oversee the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and institutional sectors.

Team Management: Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and architects, serving as a key point of contact.

Technical Expertise: Provide oversight on structural designs, reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry codes and best practices.

Business Development Support: Assist in identifying new project opportunities and developing proposals to expand the firm’s presence in the South Florida market.

Quality Control & Field Support: Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and address engineering challenges during project execution.

Qualifications:

10+ years of structural engineering experience, with a focus on commercial and institutional projects.

PE license required (Florida preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity).

Strong experience managing engineering teams and projects from concept to completion.

Expertise in structural design, analysis, and construction methods for various building materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry).

Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, and Revit.

Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and industry standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
